First comes Barrio and margs, next comes marriage | 2022

 

After a week of talking on the phone, George FINALLY had the courage to ask Hannah to dinner and chose Barrio in Kent, because who doesn’t love tacos and margs? He got there 30 minutes early (thanks to his anxiety) and ordered a drink while he waited. As he sat and sipped his Moscow Mule, trying to calm his nerves, Hannah slammed her hands down on the table, bent down to meet his gaze, and in a sweet and excited tone, said, “Hi!” And he knew in that moment that they would get along. Getting along would be an understatement: we talked nonstop for hours about our experiences, hobbies, friendships, and dreams. It was like we had known each other since childhood and were making up for lost time. From then on, we were inseparable.
